Yateley Common Country Park
Christmas Trees on Yateley Common.
It is with regret that, due to the shortage of suitable trees this year, we will NOT be able to run the ‘Christmas Trees & Wreaths’ Event. Over the last few years in which we have run this event, there have been good numbers of the right size trees. This year, the trees seem to be either too big or too small and are spread over much of the Common. We feel it better to have a break this year, hoping the trees will have grown enough by next year, avoiding disappointment to those wishing to look for a tree this year. Organising such an event takes a huge amount of time from Rangers and to say we are stretched at the moment would be an understatement.
Of course we have not taken this decision lightly and are extremely frustrated ourselves not to be able to run this popular event this year. We can only apologise to everyone for any inconvenience.
