This trail is characterised by the chalkland scenery of Winchester and Longwood. Easily accessible from Winchester, this route begins at Cheesefoot Head and uses the South Downs Way for much of its outward leg.The village of Dean marks a welcome halfway point before an unforgettable return across Stephen’s Castle and Fawley Downs.
