Hampshire provides excellent opportunities for cycling in the countryside and around town

Test Way off road cycle trail

Distance  5 miles each way, all of which are off road.

Grade  Easy

Start  Stonymarsh car park, north of Timsbury on A3057. Grid ref. 335 269.
Height restriction barriers are in place at this car park

Running between Stonymarsh and Stockbridge, this disused railway track provides a safe and flat surface for cycling. As this trail is linear it is particularly suitable for families with children. The trail runs along the eastern bank of the River Test passing through Horsebridge with its attractive weirs and renovated station house. Stockbridge Common Nature Reserve is one of several wildlife havens that can be discovered en route.
