Post 14 Consortia working

Consortia are a more flexible approach to resource distribution. They are groups which, with external support and challenge, and through leadership and governance, take responsibility for the development of the whole community.

There county is divided into nine consortia:

• Andover
• Basingstoke
• East Hants
• Eastleigh
• Fareham and Gosport
• Havant
• Rushmoor and Hart
• New Forest
• Winchester

Each consortium is usually made up of:

• Education Providers (schools, colleges, education centres etc.)
• Hampshire County Council Children's Services
• Connexions
• Training Providers
• Employers
• Voluntary Organisations
• Other Agencies
