When to use Hampshire's admissions form
Hampshire residents* applying to Hampshire schools
* Residence is based on the child's permanent home address on the application closing date (24 October 2008 for Year 7 admission; 21 November 2008 for Year R and Year 3 admission).
If you live in Hampshire (excluding Portsmouth and Southampton Cities) and wish to apply to a Hampshire County Council school, use Hampshire's application form. (If you are not sure whether your preferred school is a Hampshire school, use the Schools Finder.)

Admission to PRIMARY school (Year R or Year 3)

Non-Hampshire residents applying to a Hampshire school
Use the Hampshire application form. Hampshire's application process and timetable will apply.
Admission to SECONDARY school (Year 7)

Families moving to Hampshire from another authority area
If you are moving to Hampshire from another authority and wish to apply for a place at a Hampshire school, you should use your own authority's form (follow the links to the right), but should then contact us when you have moved.
Families applying from overseas
If you are applying for a place in a Hampshire school for September 2009, and if you currently live abroad but are expecting to be living in Hampshire in September 2009, you should apply using the Hampshire form, but provide your current overseas address. You should then inform the Admissions Team of your new address when you move to Hampshire.
