Transfer to secondary school (Year 7)

Applications can be made from 19 September 2011

The National closing date for applications is Monday 31 October 2011 (by midnight)

Hampshire parents must have applied online or returned a paper application form (CS2 form) to a Hampshire County Council school or to the County Admissions Team by midnight on this date. The online form will close on the dealine.

The National Offer date is Thursday 1 March 2012

Hampshire parents will be sent correspondence from Hampshire County Council telling them the name of the secondary school at which their child has been allocated a place. Individual schools will not be able to inform parents of the outcome of their application. Online applicants will receive e-mail notification on this date.

Starting school (Year R) and transferring to junior school (Year 3)

Applications can be made from 1 November 2011

The National closing date for applications is Sunday 15 January 2012 (by midnight)

Hampshire parents must have applied online or returned a paper application form (CR2 form for Year R) (CJ2 form for Year 3), to a Hampshire County Council school or to the County Admissions Team by midnight on this date. The online form will close on the dealine.

Hampshire's Offer date is Thursday 19 April 2012

Hampshire parents will be sent correspondence from Hampshire County Council telling them the name of the school at which their child has been allocated a place. Individual schools will not be able to inform parents of the outcome of their application.Online applicants will receive e-mail notification on this date.

If you are applying to an aided or foundation school, you may need to complete a supplementary form in addition to your main application. Please refer to the school's admission policy or contact the school directly to find out if this is required.

If you are applying for a school in another authority, you should get that authority’s brochure to ensure that you have all the information you need.
