Applying for a place in a Hampshire school

What if I have any concerns or complaints about my child’s education?

If you have a concern about any aspect of your child’s education, you should first speak to their classteacher or form tutor.

This informal approach is usually the quickest and most effective way of sorting out any problems. However, if your concern persists you should contact the headteacher or, in a large school, a senior member of staff.

Schools have their own complaints procedures that explain this process, which is available on request.

If you would like to read about the complains procedure in more detail please see our Children's Services Dealing with concerns and complaints page.
