Applying for a place in Year 3 in a primary school

A few parents may wish to apply to an all-through primary school for a place in Year 3.

If so, you should use the following procedure:

• Apply to a junior school in the usual way, online or on the CJ2 form, naming your linked school or another junior school. This will ensure a school place in September if your preferred all-through primary school cannot offer a place.
• Apply to your preferred primary school by completing an out-of-round application form  2mb (also available from the school) and returning it direct to the primary school by 11 June 2012
• The primary school will be able to offer and reserve a September 2012 place, if one is available, on 11 June 2012.
