19 September 2011 - online application system opens

Paper application forms and brochures are available upon request from the County Admissions Team

Monday 31 October 2011 (by midnight) - Closing date for secondary school applications.

06 January 2012 - Final date for changes to on-time applications

If you provide evidence to the Admissions Team of a significant change of circumstances (usually a change of address) you may make a change to an on-time application until this date.

Thursday 1 March 2012 - Offer date for on-time applicants

On-time applicants will be notified by Hampshire County Council of the outcome of their applications. Online applicants will receive this notification by email and parents who submitted paper applications will be sent a letter on 01 March 2012 by first class post. Letters will also be sent to online applicants who were not offered a place at their first preference school.

Thursday 15 March 2012 - Offer date for late applicants

Notification letters will be sent by first class post to parents who submitted a late application by this date. Late applications after 01 March must be made direct to schools. These applications will be processed by schools as received. Forms are obtainable from schools, the County Admissions Team or available for print from the web page: Applying for a school place now

Thursday 15 March 2012 - Waiting lists will be established

A waiting list will be maintained for each oversubscribed school.
