All allowances are pro-rated for part-time staff with exception of TLR 3.

Additional payments for classroom teachers are subject to determination by the Governing Body.

Lead Practitioners Pay Range

From September 2016 the salary for a Leading Practioner in maintained schools must be no less than £38,984 and no more than £59,264 per annum.

Unqualified Teachers Pay Range

An Unqualified Teacher must be paid no less than £16,461 and no more than £26,034 per annum as the relevant body determines.

Academy Schools

Academy schools are not required to apply the provisions of the School Teachers Pay and Conditions document. Applicants for posts in Academy schools must check the advert details and contact the academy for further information on terms and conditions that apply.
