We have an incredibly exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational learning support assistant to join our team at Freegrounds Junior School. Freegrounds Junior School is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support individual pupils with identified needs to achieve their full potential within the classroom.

Freegrounds Junior School is a three-form entry school in Hedge End. We are a forward-thinking, aspirational school and are well on our way to becoming outstanding in all we do. We have a clear vision and plan for the development of our school which began last year with major building work to improve the efficiency of the building as well as give our pupils and staff a rich, stimulating learning environment. We utilised this opportunity to rebrand the school with a new logo and colour scheme and plan for further technological and landscape developments over the coming year.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience of working with children with special needs within a KS2 school setting
- Is passionate in supporting children to believe they can aspire to achieve their very best
- Is able to work effectively with children, confidently adapting the curriculum to meet their needs
- Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills whilst remaining patient and positive
- Has GCSE Grade C English and Maths or equivalent
- Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
