Welcome to the Hampshire EMTAS website

Hampshire Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS) is part of Children's Services of Hampshire County Council.

Our service supports schools and families across Hampshire in raising ethnic minority achievement, through bilingual assistance, projects, training, family learning and advisory support.

Additionally, we offer a FREE early profiling report and then often bilingual assistance to schools and pre-school settings with newly arrived pupils for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL).  Please see our New Arrivals section on how to refer a pupil and see eligibilty for free bilingual support.
