Our service provides support to Hampshire schools through bilingual assistance offered to schools, nurseries and playgroups who admit a newly arrived pupil, for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL).

The service is funded by the Ethnic Minority Achievement Grant. Hampshire EMTAS in partnership with various schools, is also working to raise achievement of ethnic minority pupils through training for school staff.
