Training for admin staff

The admin officer or assistant is often the first person in the school that a newly-arrived family will see. We encourage you to join the New Arrival training sessions which are offered to your school when you or your SENCO/Headteacher make a referral for support of a newly-arrived pupil. These sessions can be tailored to the needs of the whole school staff.

Specific training for admin officers/other office staff is available. We can provide a session to help you with the admissions process for pupils from ethnic minority groups, including travellers and those with English as an additional language.

The course links with with schools' duty to promote community cohesion.
