This page provides links to information designed to help you ensure that the best practice described in the Hampshire County Council Child Protection Guidance relating to staff in schools can be effectively implemented.   This incorporates the DCSF Safer Recruitment Guidance.

Dealing with Allegations Against Staff and Concerns About Staff includes a Guidance Document and an Implementation Pack designed to assist you in raising awareness in your school of how to deal with these sensitive and complex issues.  The Implementation Pack includes all you should need to provide information and training across the school - the Introduction includes advice on how to use this Pack.

The Safer Recruitment material includes the Hampshire County Council Safer Recruitment Guidance as well as a toolkit of information and practical assistance for all aspects of the recruitment process.  Checklists and Templates are included for use in various types of appointment and stages of the process to implement best practice principles in all your appointments.
