School Recruitment Administration Service

The Schools' Recruitment & Development Team in Education Personnel Services has extensive experience of providing administrative support, advice and guidance to schools when appointing a new Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or key member of staff.  We have developed a comprehensive recruitment administration service which is designed to reduce the administration and time commitments on schools while maximising the effectiveness of the overall recruitment process.

We work closely with the Governing Body, existing Headteacher, School Improvement Managers, Attached Inspectors and applicants throughout the entire recruitment process and provide a central point of contact for all parties involved in the recruitment process.

We can provide schools with the following support:

  • Recruitment preparation
  • Arranging National Press advertisement
  • Response Handling
  • Distributing application packs
  • Acknowledging receipt of applications
  • Preparing shortlisting packs for selection panel
  • Informing candidates of shortlisting outcome
  • Taking up references
  • Preparing reference packs for selection panel
  • Informing candidates of outcome of interviews
  • Seeking Occupational Health clearance for the successful candidate
  • Retain and confidentially destroy all relevant paperwork in line with current data protection regulations

 

Costs are calculated according to the type of school and number of pupils on roll and are as follows:

School Charge
Primary School with fewer than 125 pupils on roll: £400.00
Primary School with 126 - 225 pupils on roll: £465.00
Primary School with 226 - 399 pupils on roll: £565.00
Primary School with 400 - 500 pupils on roll: £625.00
Primary School with more than 501 pupils on roll: £695.00
Secondary School: £1100.00

If your recruitment process be stopped at the short listing stage an invoice will be sent with a 10% reduction of the original fee.

Should the first run be unsuccessful after interviews – the full amount will be charged. However if should choose to use our services for a re-run we may be able to offer  some reduction in price.

In addition to the recruitment service, we are more than happy to discuss schools individual recruitment needs and create a bespoke package as appropriate including assistance with your selection process.  We can arrange for psychometric testing, attendance at interviews and facilation of group discussions, intray exercises etc to be included as an integral part of the selection process.  There will be an additional costs for these services which will be dicussed and agreed with you at the time.

We also provide an enhanced vacancy service where we offer bespoke advertisements.
