Pathfinder Consultation
The government has invited local authorities to bid for funding for pathfinder schemes to develop schemes to assist children travelling to school.Details of the pathfinder prospectus can be found at www.teachernet.gov.uk/publications and by searching using ref 00374-2007BRT-EN.The attached cosultation document sets out some key questions about the shape of the Conty Council's potential school transport pathfinder bid.It also describes some of the initiatves the County Council has been undertaking to test possible approaches that could be developed by a pathfinder bid.The Cabinet will make a final decision on whether to submit a pathfinder bid when it meets on 29 October 2007.
