Why is it important to bring pupils to the Day 1 training day?

Schools would not exist without the young people who go there! If you are going for a Healthy Schools Award then pupils' views are a core element in developing school activities. The two young people who come with you on the Day 1 training day will be key to stimulating pupil interest back at school and setting up their own pupil Healthy Schools team. Your pupil team should be representative of your pupil community, including those with special educational needs, and will liaise with the adult Healthy Schools team on a regular basis.
