Supporting personal and social development – guidelines for all schools
A cross-phase comprehensive set of updated guidelines which defines the various components and requirements of personal and social development. It supports schools in identifying how their PSHE provision contributes to pupil achievement and school improvement, and provides practical guidance and support for teachers on planning, delivering and assessment. Detailed units of work for Year R – Year 11 are provided, and links with citizenship, Healthy Schools, RRR, ECM and SEAL are clearly defined.

The Hampshire school self-evaluation tool for the promotion of SMSC development
This new publication brings schools up to date with current position of SMSC in schools and offers a self-evaluation tool to help schools identify their current provision and suggest ways forward.

Drug use and misuse policy
A new policy document which defines and supports the work of all those who work with children/young people, relating to the use and misuse of substances by young people. Its aim is to ensure that everyone actively enhances the delivery of education, advice, support and guidance to young people and adds value to the work of existing teams and professionals.

Hampshire primary drug planning handbook
This folder offers guidance on planning and delivering an effective drug education programme. The CD contains 30 lesson plans covering Year R – Year 6, all of which are tried and tested in Hampshire schools. Supporting resources sheets also provided. The planning and resource sheets are provided on a CD to enable schools to adapt them for their own usage.

Hampshire secondary drug planning handbook
This folder offers guidance on planning an effective drug education programme. Suggests the minimum provision and offers ways in which schools can build on to their existing provision. The CD contains 10 suggested sessions plans, assessment advice and supporting resources. The planning and resource sheets are provided on a CD-ROM to enable schools to adapt them for their own usage.
