Welcome to the HIAS Primary website
This site aims to provide information and links to resources and research that are current and pertinent to the development of high-quality teaching and learning in primary education.
The aim of our service is to support schools to:
- achieve world class standards
- close the gap in educational achievement for children from disadvantaged backgrounds
- safeguard the young and vulnerable
- ensure young people are participating and achieving their potential to18 years old and beyond
- keep children and young people on the path to success
- secure the health and well-being of children and young people
We have a large team of primary phase inspector/advisers, subject inspector/advisers and teaching and learning advisers. They offer bespoke support to schools based on individual need as well as offering support through conferences and HIAS led courses.
A hard copy of a brochure outlining the services has recently been sent all Hampshire schools, this is also available to download from HIAS services for 2012/2013.
