Welcome to the HIAS Secondary website

This site attempts to provide information and links to resources that are current and pertinent to teaching and learning in secondary education.

The aim of our service its to support schools to:

• achieve world class standards
• close the gap in educational achievement for children from disadvantaged backgrounds
• safeguard the young and vulnerable
• ensure young people are participating and achieving their potential to18 and beyond
• keep children and young people on the path to success
• secure the health and well-being of children and young people

We have a large team of curriculum experts inspectors/advisers and consultants. They offer support through conferences, externally lead courses, work with whole-school, departments and individuals. A hard copy of a brochure outlining the services has been sent all schools recently, this is also available to download from HIAS services website.
