Schools Prom - 11 November 2009, Royal Albert Hall

HMS recently took part in the prestigious last night of the Schools Prom. More than 700 Hampshire pupils formed a massed choir and raised the roof in the world premiere of a Hampshire-commissioned work by nationally-acclaimed composer, Stephen McNeff. "The Darwin Dilemma" is a 12-minute extravaganza that takes its inspiration from the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, with 12 dramatic scenes involving singers, instrumentalists, and dancers.
