This range of county music ensembles builds on and extends the opportunities available in Hampshire’s 60 area groups. County ensembles provide very high quality performing opportunities for Hampshire’s most able young musicians. Each group has a full schedule of rehearsals and concerts and a high level of commitment is required. You are welcome to visit rehearsals for any of these ensembles before deciding whether to apply.

Since September 2012 our many wonderful musical events and activities have reflected some of the successes of the Hampshire Music Education Hub.
By developing stronger partnerships, the Hub is providing exciting opportunities in music education for 55,000 children and young people. We look forward to continuing our work with our Hub partners to benefit musicians of all abilities throughout the county
