The Lunchtime Singing Group

Lunchtime Singing Group

The Lunchtime Singing Group has pulled off another successful performance, singing a wide range of pieces in Elizabeth II Court on Tuesday 15th March 2011.

The music included: Didn’t my Lord, Amen siakudumisa, Cum decore, Donna nobis pacem, Black is the colour, and Wade in the water.

The group has over 50 members and is led by Hampshire Music Service’s lead vocal professional Anne George. All abilities and experience are welcome – from beginners to regular singers – to participate in this enjoyable and sociable lunchtime musical

Giving it their all!

Anne said, “I am very pleased with the progress that the group has made over the last 2 months. It is also very pleasing to have more male singers than last time, as this adds some “oomph” to the bottom range! I am very excited about the next session, and looking forward to welcoming new members.”

As one of the singers said, “I really enjoyed the tunes we sang and went to bed with them ringing in my ears! I will definitely be back in April."
