Sarah Heard, a teacher with Hampshire Music Service says, I am delighted for the children that their hard work has paid off and that they enjoyed themselves so much on the day. I love the way that music brings people together and I get a real buzz when my pupils do themselves proud.”

WASWB, one of seventy music ensembles supported by Hampshire Music Service, has been together since the 1970s when parents of current members played in it, and has been under the baton of Sarah Heard since last September. The Band rehearses at Hounsdown School, Totton every Wednesday and is always looking for new members.
