The Hampshire Primary Curriculum Music Project

The Hampshire Music Service runs a curriculum project for all Hampshire Primary Schools. This entitles each school to the following:

  • Curriculum project courses – a range of relevant courses designed to help schools develop music making and learning. Two places per school on every course.
    Schools who do not buy in to the project can still send staff on these courses – the cost is £55 per half day per person or £110 per whole day per person

  • Annual Music Conference - two places per school.
    Schools who do not buy in to the project can still send staff to the conference – the cost is £110 per person

  • Publications; one hard copy of all publications per school and unlimited access is available to the electronic versions on line.
    Schools who do not buy in to the project can still buy publications – the cost is £25 per publication

  • Song of the Week - Each week of term you can log on to explore a new song to use in the classroom or with your choir. Our team of vocal specialists have carefully selected and written songs to suit primary voices which are easy to use regardless of your singing experience.
    ‘Song of the week’ is free to all Hampshire schools who have bought into the Primary Curriculum Project or your school can pay a one off fee of £30 per academic year for the use of this particular resource. Week 1 Taster.

  • Recorder playing events; playing events; free access to annual recorder festivals and jamboree
    Schools who do not buy in to the project can still take part in the festivals and Jamboree – the cost to take part in a festival is £55 for up to 30 children, the cost to take part in the Jamboree is £10 per child (this includes an adult audience ticket) – all resources are provided for these events.
