Course Administration System (CAS)

Using CAS to administer training

The CAS family of systems are used widely throughout Hampshire County Council, and partner organisations.

The CAS systems allow a training provider to advertise, administer and accept bookings for their programme of training. The systems are Internet-based, and so are available to use wherever they are needed, provided an Internet connection is available.

Training providers can tailor what access they give to users, who can book themselves onto courses if appropriate. Access to book can be tailored to suit the training provider's needs.

Administration staff can also have different levels of access, according to a training provider's needs.

The cost of access to CAS is based on the number of training events and delegates as a proportion of the entire CAS user base, and is charged annually on a support and usage basis. Any changes to the CAS systems family are subject to development charges, and are usually agreed by the CAS Users forum.

If you are interested in using CAS to administer your training programme, would like more information or would like to discuss CAS, please contact Debbie Early at debbie.early@hants.gov.uk or on 01962 846291 / 8 200 6291.
