The Award Project
The Award Project engages targeted young people (14-18 year olds) in positive accredited activities, using The Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award, to inspire, change, promote learning and reduce re-offending.
The Award Project has been immensely successful in engaging young people in accredited activities, with the team being highly qualified and experienced in working with challenging behaviour in outdoor education. The Award Project has just recorded record results in terms of the most young people supported, lowest re-offending rate ever, most Bronze completions and highest level of accreditations achieved.
The Award Project works in collaboration with the Wessex Youth Offending Team and other partner agencies and also signpost to other support services, working with the young person for up to 12 months.
