This is true. Sometimes it can also be known as a den.

4. Foxes are born with black fur, they begin to moult at 4 weeks.
This is true. Foxes begin to moult at around 4 weeks. They are also born deaf and blind so are very dependent on their mother for the first few weeks of their life.
5. Foxes are bigger in Scotland than in England.
This is true. Foxes tend to get bigger and heavier the further north you go.
6. Foxes usually travel and hunt on their own.
This is true. Cubs may follow the vixen for a period of time, but adult foxes generally hunt alone.
7. Foxes will eat almost anything from fruit to small mammals.
This is true. Foxes are actually classed as carnivores but are also scavengers. What they eat will depend on where they are and what they can find.

This is true. At about 10 months old, foxes are fully grown and ready to breed.

This is true. Foxes belong to the Canidae family, also referred to as Canine. This family also includes animals such as dogs, wolves, coyotes and jackals.
