Levels of involvement

These can be based on age group, key stage, or on the time and resources available. Usually an award is completed over a year, but this is flexible.

Trailblazer Green Award - 40 hours

Trailblazer Bronze Award - 60 hours

Trailblazer Silver Award - 80 hours

Trailblazer Gold Award - 100 hours

Trailblazer Platinum Award - 150 hours

The Award System

Trailblazer Award

A certificate is presented on behalf of Hampshire County Council which acknowledges the efforts and achievements of the individual.

The school or group can also apply for a certificate to indicate their active involvement in the scheme on an annual basis.

Record of Achievement

Details the successes, strengths and can highlight key moments from a young persons experience of the Trailblazer award, this can be particularly useful as part of a larger progress file.

Merit and Credit Certificates

These are given at the discretion of the Coordinator to mark the end of a project or a particular achievement

Stickers

Available for each of the strands, plus a Trailblazer Super Star, these fun and colourful stickers can be used whenever appropriate.
