Hampshire ICT Conference 2 July 2015

A one day conference facilitated by Tim Rylands and leading teachers in Hampshire. Tim led an extremely successful conference in Hampshire last year and has agreed to return to inspire and motivate teachers in Hampshire.

Holiday Inn, Telegraph Way, Morn Hill, Winchester SO21 1HZ

Arrival and refreshment from 8.30 am, starting promptly at 9.00 am.

Sue Savory - HIAS county ICT inspector/adviser - with Tim Rylands, winner of the 2005 Becta ICT in Practice Award, and Sarah Neild, finalist of 2004 Becta ICT in Practice Award

Course content and methodology

  • The day will be a combination of workshops and a Key Note address from Tim Rylands and Sarah Neild

  • Tim Rylands has received notable recognition for using computing games and Web 2 technologies to inspire children's creative confidence in many areas of the curriculum - writing, speaking and listening, music, thinking skills, collaboration, interactive and much more. Together with Sarah Nield he will provide the Key Note as well as activities to develop thining using ICT

To improve planning and implementation of computing within the programme of study

Like last year, the conference will focus on ICT supporting learning. There won't be any suppliers' stands.
