Media Plan for Major Incidents

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Resilience Forum have produced this media plan to ensure that the media response to a major incident or emergency is co-ordinated in order to effectively deliver accurate, clear and timely information and advice to the public so that they feel confident, safe and well informed.

All responding agencies to a major incident or emergency have been involved in the formulation of the media plan and have agreed to fully co-operate should the plan be activated.
