Equality and Diversity

Hampshire Equality Network

Public bodies in Hampshire are working together to share learning and good practice about all aspects of work on equality and diversity, focussing on race, gender, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation and age, across Hampshire.

We aim to work in partnership to support each other to develop action plans that promote equality and diversity which assists partner organisations in meeting both local and national targets, legal requirements and expectations. A key feature is working together with the voluntary and community sector to engage with diverse communities and individuals countywide and locally.

The Diversity Network is hosted by Community Action Hampshire and is involved with the equality network providing an insight to the diverse communities.

Partners are encouraged to make use of the Diversity training provided.
