The size and diversity of the County Council's property portfolio means that we come across almost every aspect of estate management practice and the services we provide as a result are extensive. When you consider that we deal with development land, historic buildings, industrial estates, country parks, road improvement schemes, river beds and a vast range of public buildings, we need to have a variety of skills and experience.
In recent times, other public sector organisations have instructed us to deal with their property matters under the South East Centre of Excellence (SECE) initiative. We also have direct service contracts with Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Whatever we are dealing with, we strive to ensure that our services are in the best interests of our clients and, in the case of the County Council, also make a strong contribution towards the corporate objectives to maximise wellbeing, enhance our quality of place and make Hampshire safer and more secure for all.
