The 2009 Hampshire Farming Conference is the main farming event in the county. This year the conference looked at the major issues facing farming today – the impact of the economic downturn, planning constraints, threats to the workforce supply from a reduction in migrant labour, increasing regulations and European directives, shrinking dairy herds and the on-going threat from animal disease.
Organised by Hampshire County Council Economic Development Office with support from Hampshire Economic Partnership and other sponsors.
