Rear of Georgian house

Last month, Film Hampshire had the opportunity to look round Southwick Park, a very unique location; well, a unique set of locations as there are a great variety of potential filming locations within the one site.

This 300-acre Ministry of Defence site is surrounded by some of Hampshire’s finest countryside but still within easy access of Portsmouth (and London via the A3.) It has a diverse mix of offices, a very grand late Georgian style Grade II listed building (which includes a command room containing the original D-Day map), woods, a maze of fascinating underground stone passages (including an underground pub!), full court room, lecture theatre, restaurants, aeroplane interior, airport security set up and more than adequate parking for any size film crew.
