DV Mission 48 House Film Challenge

DV Mission Team

Film Hampshire were proud to be part of the DV Mission 48 hour film challenge in Portsmouth at the beginning of November. On Friday 31st October 23 teams attended to briefing to find out the criteria for making their 2 minute film. The genre for the films was B-movie, the title Blood on the Moon and each film had to include the line of dialogue "Oh go on then, Ill play your vicious little game."

On Sunday 2nd November Hannah Payne from Film Hampshire joined fellow judges Paul Marchbank from Southampton Solent University, Neale Brickwood owner of Spit Bank fort, Screen South's Miranda Robinson and Industry Animator Daniel Gerhardt to watch the films from the 22 teams that crossed the finish line. The standard was exceptionally high and some difficult decisions had to be made to decide upon the winners. The awards were then presented at the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth at the Premier Night which was attended by over 250 people.
