2010/11 Budget and council tax
The budget for 2010/11 was set at the County Council meeting on 18 February 2010 and was based on a recommendation of the Cabinet at its meeting on 4 February 2010.
The budget increase for 2010/11 is 2.3%. This results in a council tax rise of 1.9%. The council tax remains among the lowest of county councils in England.
2009/10 Budget and council tax
The budget for 2009/10 was set at the County Council meeting on 19 February 2009 and was based on a recommendation of the Cabinet at its meeting on 6 February 2009.
The budget increase for 2009/10 is 2.3%. This results in a council tax rise of 1.9%. The council tax remains among the lowest of County Councils in England.

The budget for 2008/09 was set at the County Council meeting on 21 February 2008 and was based on a recommendation of the Cabinet at its meeting on 8 February 2008.
The budget increase for 2008/09 is 4.4%. This results in a council tax rise of 4.5%. The council tax remains among the lowest of the County Councils in England.

The budget for 2006/07 was set at the County Council meeting on 22 February 2006 and was based on a recommendation of the Cabinet at its meeting on 10 February 2006.
The budget increase for 2006/07 is 5.2%. This results in a council tax rise of 4.7%. The council tax you pay for Hampshire County Council's services remains among the lowest of all county councils.

2005/06 Budget and council tax

The budget for 2005/06 was set at the County Council meeting on 23 February 2005 and was based on a recommendation of the Cabinet at its meeting on 11 February 2005.
The budget increase for 2005/06 is 4.7%. This results in a council tax rise of 3.5%, our lowest increase in local taxation since 1970/71.
