Refund Policy for classes and workshops

When the course is cancelled by Forest Arts

A full refund will be offered.  Payments made by credit or debit card will be re-credited to the original account used to pay for the course. Cash and cheque payments will be refunded by cheque.

Applicable to all refunds when the customer cancels

Refund will be made as a credit to the customers account with Forest Arts. These are valid for six months, and are subject to a £5 administration charge.

For courses (of more than one session)

  • More than one week before the course starts
    If a customer decides to cancel his/her place more than one week prior to the start of the course a credit of the amount paid can be made, less a £5 administration fee.  
  • Within a week of the start of the course, or after it has started
    Customers will not be entitled to a refund, unless withdrawal from the course is on medical grounds.  
    Applications for refund on medical grounds must be made within three weeks of the last class attended and accompanied by a medical certificate or doctor’s note.  Refunds would be calculated as a proportion of the course remaining at the time of application, less £5 administration fee.

For one off workshops

No refunds are available, unless it is possible to sell the place on to another customer.  

All other requests for refunds for classes or workshops on non-medical grounds (eg bereavement, dissatisfaction with aspects the course) will be considered on an individual basis by the Director.
