    By Matthew Dean
    Wed 28 May – Sat 28 June
    Artist’s Reception Saturday 31 May 12noon – 2pm

Dynamics are central to all of Matthew Dean’s work. An established filmmaker and animator he has in recent years been developing his drawing and painting. Working from life, he explores movement through form, often using professional dancers as models he commits to canvas and more recently to mirror and metal, the dynamics of movement. Dean’s ability to move between media  is brilliant and his latest collection of work on mirrored background serves to reinforce the temporal and dynamic quality of his work; his figures seem to dance in front of our eyes.

The Society for all Artists (SAA) New Milton was formed in 2002 and now has 14 members. This exhibition showcases the work of the group, which meets monthly at Forest Arts.
