Does anybody remember this trip to Waverley Cinema?

Quest to track down young faces from the 1940s
Look carefully at this rare photograph …do you recognise anybody?
Or maybe you can spot yourself? Or even remember the occasion?
All that is known by local historians is that it was taken at Waverley Cinema in New Milton in the 1940s.
As part of an ambitious ‘living’ timeline exhibition, Forest Arts Centre is seeking to hear the stories behind this, and several other rare photos unearthed by St Barbe’s Museum in Lymington.
The exhibition will show memorabilia from every decade since the 1940s right up to the present day, including old ration books, photos, records, clothes and mementos.
If you have any information about this photo – or would like to exhibit something in ‘Timeline’ please call Forest Arts on 01425 619983 and speak to Jacqueline Goddard.
Timeline opens on Wednesday 8 February and there is an artists reception on Saturday 11 February 12noon – 2pm. Free entrance.
