Notice of building works

Building works will require the closure of the public search room for two weeks from Saturday 4 August to Friday 17 August inclusive. Depending on progress during the works, this closure may extend to Saturday 18 August. The Wessex Film and Sound Archive will remain open on weekdays; by appointment only.

From Monday 20 August to Wednesday 22 August our public service will be open except for the public common room and the Wessex Film and Sound Archive. Please note that film and sound archives can always be accessed from the main public search room.
