Ashcroft Young People visit Parliament
Heritage Lottery Fund held a celebration event at the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 20 March to mark 10 years of their Young Roots programme.
New Broadlaw Mosaic Celebration
On Tuesday 27 March, over 200 people gathered to celebrate the official opening of the New Broadlaw Mosaic path in Fareham. This included cutting the ribbon on site, then a private view of the project exhibition at Ashcroft Arts Centre.
Campus Network Arts Project
Since January 2012 three Fareham schools have been collaborating with one of the UK's leading integrated dance companies to create a choreographic work for performance at the Ashcroft Arts Centre.
Elevate 2012 – The Boy At The Edge of the Room
Now in it’s fourth year, Elevate is touring theatre company Forest Forge’s annual work experience project for young people in the Hampshire.In the first seven days of the project the group create a new issue-based performance, which is then taken out on tour for free to their own schools as well as others in Hampshire, with 1000 audience members.

Shared Experience comes to the Theatre Royal, Winchester, in June to bring to life the astonishing tale of Mary Shelley – and how she came to write one of the greatest stories ever told, Frankenstein, aged just 19.
Springboard Dance Bursary Scheme 2012/13
Springboard is a Dance Bursary Scheme from Hampshire County Council, delivered in partnership with Hampshire Dance.
We are searching for outstanding young dancers who aspire to be the next leading dance professionals. The Springboard scheme will help dancers create a bespoke training programme to enhance and develop their skills. Successful candidates will receive up to £500 of dance training and development, with the guided support of a Scheme Manager.
Applications for the 2012/13 Scheme are now open - the deadline for applications is: 5pm on Friday 1 June 2012
