Ashcroft Young People visit Parliament

Heritage Lottery Fund held a celebration event at the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 20 March to mark 10 years of their Young Roots programme.

Ashcroft Arts Centre were invited to attend, with a group of our local young people to represent our Heritage Film Festival project from Summer 2011. The four young people from Fareham & Gosport answered questions about their project at the event, met numerous people from HLF and met the Heritage minister John Penrose. It was a great opportunity to represent Ashcroft Arts Centre, local schools and a fantastic project led by young people. It was an experience they said they would never forget!
