Networks and meetings

The community support team facilitates a range of networks to allow opportunities for staff and volunteers of community associations to share ideas, take part in workshops and be kept up to date with any changes in legislation that will effect them.

Community Centre Managers Network

The Community Centre Managers Network is county wide for paid senior staff or trustees acting as managers of community centres. There are 5 meetings per year held in community centres across the county, which always have an element of training or briefing.

There is also an opportunity to share ideas and network with other community association representatives as well as county and borough staff who support community organisations.

What else do the networks achieve?

These networks have also worked in partnership to access funding for local projects or make them viable by sharing the resources.
