Purpose of the Network
- To enable Managers of Community Associations from Hampshire to work together to develop their knowledge and expertise.
- To share good practice and policies, receive updates of current legislation and funding opportunities.
- To improve communication and facilitate cooperation, joint action and collaboration between organisations.
- To participate in short training sessions or briefings.
Membership
Membership of the Network will be open to
- Paid and unpaid managers of Community Associations in Hampshire.
- Representatives from the Boroughs and districts who work with communities
Operational
- There will be 5 meetings annually be at community centres across Hampshire
- Meetings will take place across the county funded by HCC Community Support Team
- These terms of reference will be regularly reviewed to ensure their relevance to the network
Borough Networks
Bringing together trustees and staff from all community associations within boroughs.
Terms of reference vary for each network as they have been set by the participants. These networks allow for an element of training or briefing and an opportunity to network with other local community associations.
