Learning to Learn in the Outdoors

An exciting award scheme promoting outdoor learning and environmental education for young people of all ages in Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and West Berkshire, Trailblazer helps schools and other groups to co-ordinate, support and develop their work in:

• Off-site and residential activities

• Outdoor and adventurous activities

• Fieldwork, environmental education and the use of the outdoor classroom

• Key skills, personal and social development.

         

Trailblazer provides a structure for outside the classroom activities and a means of giving pupils and young people credit and recognition for what they have done. It also provides access to a wide range of resources, people and places.
