The BIG Landscape eXperiment

Students and staff from Quilley School of Engineering in Eastleigh have been working with the Hampshire Schools Landscape Programme and Hattie Coppard from the artist led company ‘Snug and Outdoor’ to plan their own Landscape eXperiment and develop a resource for other schools to use.

The Landscape eXperiment at Quilley will  take place  9th - 13th July 2007.  Students and staff will temporarily change some of the outdoor spaces surrounding their school buildings and use them in new and unusual ways.

The BIG Landscape eXperiment at Quilley has recently attracted funding from the Arts Council for England who in partnership with Hampshire County Council are piloting the project which will be rolled out to other Hampshire Schools between 2007 - 2009.
