Sharks, rays and relatives - Chondrichthyes

The cartilaginous fish are well represented in our geological collection by teeth and, more rarely, by dentitions (rays & relatives), tubercles, fin spines, vertebra and coprolites. These collections, were recovered from most of the geological stages in the Hampshire Basin, particularly from localities along the coastal regions of southern Hampshire.
