Visual Journeys
11 July – 15 August
Revealing the journey of learning through art by a group of teachers and their students. The teachers are from schools from across Hampshire and all have a key responsibility for art education. The group travelled to Milan during the autumn half term in 2008. They visited various education institutions and places of cultural interest. The work on display reflects the group’s response and inspiration to their journey.
Harbourmouth Exhibition
22 August – 29 August
An exhibition of Marine Painting and Driftwood Sculpture by Colin M Baxter.
Dressed 2 Express
5 September – 24 October
What is it about teenagers? Why do they have to look different from the rest of us? We’ve been working with young people to chart the evolution of teenage style and explore how young people have been dressing to express themselves since the 1940s. If you’re curious about Emos, Chavs, Goths and more, you can find out everything you need to know in this exhibition of images, clothing and accessories, past and present.

1970s
7 November – Christmas
Relive the decade of contrast and change; from interior design, to teenage styles, industrial strife and memorable games for all the family to play. Listen to a family in the 70s discussing how they will survive the energy crisis, cope with teenage kids or get ready for that cheese and wine party. If you lived through the decade or wonder why your parents go misty eyed about it, this exhibition is for you.
