The 1970’s are bought to life with objects and memories exploring the decade of contrast and change, from interior design to teenage style to industrial strife.

Led Sessions for Schools (KS2)

The 1970’s

Investigating home life and popular culture, pupils work in ‘expert’ groups to complete one of five design activities: Produce a 70’s style advert, design a TV show, CD cover, board game or fashion range. The session rounds off with the group exploring and trying on glam rock, punk or disco outfits.
